Sunday School Classes for Adults

There are several adult-level classes to choose from and some short-term elective classes offered periodically. These classes are held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. weekly.

Women's Elective Class- A new class begins on Sunday, January 15, and will be held through April 2012. Cheri Etling leads this class, which is held in the classroom outside of the fellowship hall in the old 'temporary nursery.'  All women are welcome.

College & Career Class - The 'Open Door' Class welcomes all college and young adult students to join them throughout the year, when out-of-town students are home on break - and especially if/when you are home in the summer! (More details below.)

The Open Door Class - This class is comprised of individuals and couples ranging in age from those who have just graduated from high school to young singles and on to marrieds couples. This class is led by Wendy Wimer and is held in the Kids Cave (upper level of the Christian Education wing).

The Arthur Pilgrim Class is led by several different Bible teachers. It's Bible Study follows the "Standard Publishing's" quarterly curriculum and they meet in the Arthur Pilgrim Classroom located on the lower level of the new addition. This class is typically attended by the older crowd, but welcomes all ages.

The Be All You Can Be Class gathers together each week in the fellowship hall. Topical studies on Biblical themes are typically taught in this classroom environment. Pastor Denny and other guest speakers are currently serving as an interim teacher while Harold Griffin is on a leave of absence. Over the past several months the class has been exploring cults and how Christians can better share their faith with those of different faiths.

WOW Class - The Women of the Word Class meets on the last Sunday of each month. Annette Sites leads this class of great women (all ages are invited). This once-a-month class is a great option to keep up-to-date with your regular Sunday School class, while also gleaning some great insights from like-minded women.

The Messenger Class is a small-group type of class. Debbie Kauffman and Velma 'Beanie' Griffin lead this discussion and prayer/share group which is held in the 'meeting room' of the church basement (across from the fellowship hall). All ages are represented in this class as well as both men and women.
