Wise Words will be the theme of our next Women’s Study! We plan to meet at the church for 6 weeks – breaking for Thanksgiving – beginning Wednesday, November 1 at 7 pm. We’ll be using the book, ‘Keep it Shut’ by Karen Ehman to assist us in making wiser decisions on ‘What to Say, How to Say It and When to Say Nothing at All! Together, we’ll consider a healthy, Biblical approach to our conversations such as “What to say in social media posts, why “just sharing a prayer request” might be gossip and why self-talk matters too.” Using wise words “leads to healthier relationships and the joy of seeing what God can do”
through us. Cost is only $5, and sign-ups have begun. Prayerfully consider joining us!
Make a Blanket Day!  You are invited to join us on the morning of Saturday, December 2, to help us make some beautiful blankets.  They are made of fleece and will be distributed to others in our community.  This will also be a time for our campers to earn camp credit.  Watch for more details to come as the time draws closer.
Kids For Christ
We’re looking for boys and girls to come and enjoy an evening of creative fun and play together on Wednesday nights.  Our first night together will be held on November 1st at 7:00pm in the Kid’s Cave.  Kids from K to 5th graders are all invited to join us!  To help us prepare, please sign up on the sheet at the welcome center or contact Becky Losh.  Volunteers are also needed to assist Becky in this ministry.  Teens or adults.  Part time or full time.  Our tentative schedule is to meet through December 13.
Apple Dumplings!  It’s time to order  your delicious apple dumplings.  The ‘Be All You Can Be’ Sunday School Class will be creating these yummy treats on Friday & Saturday, October 27-28.  An order form is available at the welcome center or you can call Donna Lawson.  You may pay for your dumplings when you pick them up either Saturday, Oct 28 from 4 to 6 pm in the fellowship hall or on Sunday in the church kitchen after either worship hour.  We have regular and sugar free.  Be sure to sign up soon!
Jackson Family In Concert!  We have a special day of celebration planned for Sunday, October 22.  Bruce and Brenda Jackson will be returning with the growing family.  Their music is upbeat, unique and inviting and always with a strong message of the hope and healing that can be found through Christ.  They will be sharing during both worship hours.  Invite a friend or two to join us for this day of inspiration and worship.
Smile for the Camera!  Throughout the month of October, we will have a photographer ready to snap your picture for the Church Pictorial Directory.  Linda Hager will be available before/after both worship hours in the Welcome Center area of the church foyer.  We’d love to have everyone represented in our new issue of the directory.  Don’t forget to fill out a contact sheet – available at the welcome center – with your current information.  If you have already captured a picture you’d like to share by email please send your contact info along with your picture to or drop off into the Church Office Mailbox.
