Infant Dedication
For infants, we practice a service of ‘dedication’ which is a time when the baby/toddler is brought before the church family by their family (immediate and extended, if desired) and they are anointed with oil and receive a prayer for God’s blessing on the child as well as asking the parents, family and church body to dedicate themselves to helping this little one grow in their faith of Jesus Christ. Dedications happen on an ‘as needed’ basis and are prearranged through the church office for scheduling purposes.
