Jerusalem Chapel Youth Ministries (JCYM) invites students in 6th through 12th grades to join us each week for Sunday School as well as other activities and events within the church that are specifically designed for youth. Many of our teens regularly serve in a variety of ministries such as – Sunday School helpers, nursery workers, in our Christmas musical, as VBS volunteers, and in a variety of outreach ministries such as Operation Christmas Child and Make-A-Blanket Day.
Opportunities for connection, ministry and fun this past year included events such as playing on our volleyball team, attending Rhodes Grove Camp, encouraging those in local nursing homes, enjoying ice cream socials at Klines, fishing events and movie outings! Updates on activities and events that youth can participate in are posted in our weekly church bulletin, on this webpage or are announced in our Sunday School classes. We have a great bunch of teens that are learning to serve, are continuing to grow in their faith and are eager to make a difference in our community and around the world. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to have you!
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Event! Middle & High School youth are invited to join us on Sunday, November 8, immediately following late worship. Come and share your servant heart while enjoying hanging out together! Please make sure to bring your mask and your signed permission forms (activity and health) which are available on the bottom shelf of the foyer table. To learn more, please contact Nikki Moneymaker or Susan Nolley.

High School Sunday School Class
Join us for class on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.  Together, we’ll be checking out truths found in the Bible and spending time together as friends. This class meets each Sunday in the Kid’s Cave in the upstairs of the Christian Education Building.
Middle School Sunday School Class
Each week, a class created especially for 6th to 8th graders is held in one of the basement classrooms of the main church building. Nikki Moneymaker is our class teacher. She is great at finding ways to take the truths of Scripture and apply them into our lives – and sometimes games and candy are a part of that process as well!
Combo Class –
On the last Sunday of the month, all middle and high school students meet together in a combined class in the Kid’s Cave in the upper level of the Christian Education Building.
Free Summer Camp for Kids & Teens
We’d love for you to experience a week of camp this summer at Rhodes Grove. Check out all the details on our Opportunities page – click on the links to kids and camp. To prepare, check out the Camper Policy and other details are available by contacting the church office or can be found here .
