Women’s Ministry Events!
Fall Dinner! On Saturday, October, 5 at 5:00 pm there will be a special evening meal served to widows at the church – in the Arthur Pilgrim classroom. RSVP to Debby Houston or Patty Nulty. If you need transportation, please let us know that as well. We’ll have someone come and pick you up and then take you back home as well!
Refresh & Relax! Gals from post high school and up through 35 years are invited to join us at Panera in Waynesboro on Tuesday, October 15th. Enjoy a meal, a snack or just a drink on us – because we’re picking up the tab! We’ll be meeting in the party room from 5:30-7:30 pm, and you can stay and relax for the whole time or come and go whenever it suits your schedule. Don’t have childcare? No problem, you’re welcome to bring your kids with as well. To RSVP, please contact either Kajsa Averill or Annette Sites at the church office.
Make-A-Blanket Day –  Join us for this ‘no sew’ project that will bless others in our community – and our campers as well. Held on Saturday, October 26, from 9 am-noon in the fellowship hall. We’ll be creating beautiful and fun fleece blankets to share with others who can use a little extra cozy comfort! If you have sharp scissors or a yard stick, please bring those with (but not required). Want to help out, but can’t make it that morning? No problem! You can “Make-A-Blanket” in the convenience of your own home. Just contact Elaine Griffin or the church office for more details.
KISSES Krew! We have an ongoing ministry of encouragement to our local school teachers and staff. We create simple treats for their mailboxes and bless them from time to time during the school year. If you’d like to help with this outreach of love, please contact Annette Sites to find out ways that you can get involved.
